Best value for money
I bought this notebook in the middle of November 2008. I spent several months trying to find a 17-inch laptop within my budget.

amazing
It is amazing. It’s my first notebook and I really love it.
But, I think HP should bring this spectacular product with a better operative system.

Good for it’s price and sexy.
This laptop was a great deal for the price. I use this laptop when I am not at my desktop and often play tf2. TF2 runs pretty well considering the slower cpu.

Internet connection failure
In less than 30 days of use, this HP suddenly would not connect to the internet. In checking with a local computer dealer, he said HP was having huge problems with this issue.

Key contrast not good
Great computer but like someone else mentioned, the color of the letters/numbers on the keys is so close to the color of the keys that they are very difficult to read.

GREAT COMPUTER
This has been a great desktop replacement. Long battery life, great screen although it catches lots of glare in certain situations.

I was looking for something to replace my aging Dell that would be a solid workstation and somewhat portable. This 17″ fits the bill perfectly.

Great Laptop cheaper at bestbuy though
This is a great laptop. Runs most games just fine at medium to high settings. Pick this laptop up at bestbuy for $899. That is a steal for what you get.
